Abilene McCullough Obituary
Visitation will be today from 6–8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Doug Moody officiating. Burial will follow in Walston Cemetery.
Mr. McCullough was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Ethel Cox McCullough; parents, Jimmy and Rutha Posey McCullough; daughters, Kay Schulman, Donna Butler; and brothers, Leslie, Earl, and Charles McCullough.
He is survived by his son, Steve McCullough (Pam); daughters, Deborah Hice (Freddy) and Diane Hollis (Kenny Hiller); brother, J.C. McCullough; sisters, Mattie Stanfield, Della Mae Collum, Jean Kent and Fronia Warhurst; grandchildren, Chris and Kyle Logan, Kevin Gower, Chase Hollis, Vance Southern, Michael Parham and Matthew Schulman; and 13 great-grandchildren including, Camden, Jaxson, Crimson, Preston and Karsyn Logan, and Lexxi Hollis.
Active pallbearers will be Chase Hollis, Glen Butler, Jerry McCullough, David McCullough, Bobby Cox and Bill Cox.
Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony McCullough, Mike Cox and Darrell Haddock.
Special thanks to his physician and longtime friend, Dr. Robert Mann, and Florence Nursing Home.

I worked with Mr.McCullough in restorive exersice,I enjoyed working with him, listening to him talk. He was a very interesting person. HE WILL BE MISSED.

If this is Abb that used to work for James Rice, I met him around 30yrs ago. He was really nice man that would talk horses with me and even saddled up that black stallion for me to ride. My sympathies go out to your family. Sometimes knowing your loved one touched other people's lives in a positive way is soothing to your heart.

Deborah, Steve, Diane, Chase and the rest of my family. I love you all so much and I am sorry for your loss. Uncle Abb was an awesome man and will be missed greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
