Daniel Monreal
HARLINGEN, TX.-
Adrian Daniel Monreal 37, entered into rest Monday, June 20, 2011. He was born on April 23, 1974 to Rogerio and Teresa Monreal in Harlingen, TX.
He is survived by his children; Adrian Nathan Monreal, Luke Daniel Monreal, step children; Nicole Trevino, Justin Trevino, Victoria Trevino and mother of his children; Jennifer Romero all from San Antonio, TX. parents; Rogerio and Teresa Monreal, brother; David (Gina) Monreal, sisters; Celia (Joel) Monreal Castaneda, Sara Marie Monreal, Nieces; Maya Belen Monreal, Lauren Lyla Castaneda all from Harlingen, TX. Also surviving him are his maternal grandmother Manuela Esparza, paternal grandmother; Carmen Monreal, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held today, June 23, 2011 from 10am to 9pm with a holy rosary to be recited at 7pm.
Funeral procession will depart Rudy Garza Funeral Home on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 9:30am for a 10am mass at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Adrian, You became my friend when you came to work with us at Med Team Inc.in San Antonio. You continued to be my friend at Christus Community Care Dept. You were a respectable man, always in a very good mood, and happy, mostly everyday. I missed you when you left our agency and I will miss you even more, now. To the Monreal Family, You raised a wonderful man. Our prayer will maintain his soul.

I knew Adrian since 7th grade through HHS 92 and even after. Adrian was always smiling, happy-cool person, always laughing and always had his friends around him. My husband played baseball with him in their young years and he would say "Adrian was a great baseball player, we'd watch him come in and we"d say to eachother, you gotta watch that guy cuz he's good!". My prayers to all of the Monreal family and to Jennifer and family because we know how difficult this is for you. Adrian, we will miss you and wont be forgotten.

Adrian was truly a joy to be around. He had a way of bringing everyone together & we are blessed with so many great memories because of him. Our prayers are with you Jenn, Nicole, Justin, Tori, Nathan, Luke, & the Monreal family. We will miss our dear friend.

Our condolences to the Monreal family. Roy, we shared a lot of good times on the baseball fields in Harlingen when Adrian was a youngster. I will always remember that young ballplayer. The Lord bless you and your family.

My heartfelt condolences to the Monreal Family. I didn't know Adrian too well, but I knew he was nice and very funny!! My sister Monika was in his Class, but I remember the Monreal Family as they lived near our Elementary School. Mere words can never take the pain away, so I am sending prayers of peace and comfort! My deepest condolences to both of you. I remember the times when you all use to come to my grandmother's home (the late Oralia Monreal) when the boys (David and Adrian) including myself, my cousins Hector and Noe Hernandez would all be in the backyard playing together when we were kids. Truly fun times when we all got together during our childhood. May you and the rest of the family be blessed during this difficult time.

I am sorry for your loss. I am the daughter of Arturo and Kitty Martinez. I remember Adrian growing up and seeing him play at his parents' house. Mr. and Mrs. Monreal lived next door to my Tio Apolonio and Tia Vita. We were all ball players so we saw him all the time at the fields too. May God's peace and mercy cradle you at this time, forever, and always.

Dear Roger and Terry: My heartfelt condolances go out to you and your family. I cannot begin to imagine the pain you feel presently, but you are in our prayers. We met Adrian through Jennifer. He was not only a very special young man, but he was also a wonderful father as well as exceptional stepfather. He stepped up to the plate when he needed to. Jennifer was truly blessed to have met Adrian when she did. The children grew to love him and I know there will be a void in their lives. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
