Angel Flores was my favorite Conjunto musician and personality. I lived for the times that I could hear him play live. When he performed for the people, it wasn't just a concert, it was church.

I cannot begin to describe in words how happy I am when I listen to Angel Flores! I have many memories of his live performances and his humble manner off stage. My condolences to the entire flores family. I enjoyed Angel Flores, music all the time, I heard and saw the legend lots of places he played, including Corpus, San Antonio, el valle. A true conjunto legend and "The Best Accordian player ever" Hands down. Angel flores was often immitated and by far, but never duplicated.
