Antonio Maldonado Obituary

Harlingen - Antonio T. Maldonado 84, of Harlingen entered into rest Saturday, May 4, 2024. He was born June 13, 1939 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Jose Jacinto and Maria Angelita Maldonado. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Eva Gallardo and a brother, Liborio Maldonado.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 65 years, Viola Maldonado; 2 daughters, Debbie (Raul) Gallaga and Dina Grayson; his son, Tony Maldonado; 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren his brother, Joe Maldonado his 2 sisters, Socorro "Cora" Maldonado and Dominga Maldonado.

Antonio proudly drove HEB trucks for 33 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with family, especially the grandchildren.

Visitation will begin Friday, May 17, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the holy rosary to be prayed at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home and burial will follow at Heavenly Grace Cemetery under the auspices of the American Legion Post #205.

Funeral services are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home.
