Carlos F. Ramirez
HARLINGEN, TX. -Carlos F. Ramirez 78, of Harlingen entered into rest Saturday, September 01, 2007. He was born November 4, 1928 in Brownsville, Texas.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Olivia; 7 daughters and 2 sons; Olga (Arnold) Salazar, Lydia (Henry) Garza, Linda (Frank) Sanchez, Julie (Avelino) Siller, Frances Anderson, Gracie (George) Flores, Carlos Jr., (Rosa), Jose (Beatrice), Delia (Tony) Chavez, 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his three sisters, Juanita Barajas, Rosalinda Ybarra and Ramona Trevino.
Visitation will be Monday, September 3, 2007 from 10am to 9pm and a rosary will be held at 7pm.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2007 departing the Rudy Garza Chapel of Peace at 9:30am for a 10:00 am funeral service at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Deacon Genaro Ybarra officiating and interment will follow at Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Frank Sanchez, Frank Sanchez, Jr., Carlos Ramirez III, Ave, George Flores and Lupe Ramirez. Honorary pallbearers will be his sons, Carlos Ramirez, Jr and Joe Ramirez.
