Catalina Soto Obituary
HARLINGEN, TX. -
Catalina Soto 89, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on June 3, 2012 at her daughters residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born February 13, 1923 in Durango, Mexico she was a lifelong resident of Harlingen. She was the daughter of Esequio and Teodora Orozco Gonzalez. A professional seamstress she worked at Johnson Canvas Products, Levi and Carter Clothing Company 35 years. She was a giving and generous person and prayer warrior.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jesus Soto in 1992, 2 sons, Manuel Soto and Mike Soto.
She leaves behind to cherish her wonderful memory her children, Linda Torres of Harlingen, Jesus Soto Jr. (Sue), Oscar Soto, Rachel Rodriguez (Joe) all of Harlingen and Cleo S. Barbee (Wayne) of Austin, Texas along with 20 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday at 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM with prayer of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM.
Mass of Christian burial will be held today, Tuesday June 5, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home, 1002 East Harrison Ave., Harlingen, Texas 78550.

I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new
