My prayers for peace and comfort at this time in your lives. Darlene was special to me in many ways..I admired her professionally, as an aunt to some of my students, and as an inspiration to so many young people. May God grant you, her families, the joy of great memories ....

My deepest condolences to the entire family,. Mrs. Perez was a beautiful soul, I had the opportunity to have Mr. Perez as my teacher in elementary, then I had the opportunity to have her as my principal when I was employed in Lyford and as my Pastor when I attended The Lyford Wesylian Church. Every time she would see me around town, she would hug me and strike up a conversation with me, eventhough we hadn't seen each other in years, she would say hello!Martina how are you? I will greatly miss you and your beautiful advice and concern you always showed me..God bless the entire family....
