Enedina Grimaldo Obituary
Edna was born on August 2, 1949 in Azadon Ranch, Lyford, Texas to Eugenio De La Rosa & Severa Trevino De La Rosa. She was a resident of Harlingen, Texas who was a bank teller for 40 years. Edna was a devout catholic, prayer warrior, and a longtime member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. Most of all she loved her family and adored her grandchildren. Edna will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her 3 brothers, Santiago, Jesus, & Edelmiro De La Rosa.
Enedina leaves behind to cherish her beautiful & wonderful memory, her beloved husband of 52 years, Jesus Grimaldo; children, Melissa G. Garza (James), Sandra G. Enriquez (Felix), Rebecca G. Martinez (Juan), & Veronica Grimaldo; grandchildren, Malory & Noah Garza, Theresa Hernandez, Addyson & Nicolas Enriquez, Mia Martinez, Isabella Martinez & Cinthia Martinez; siblings, Emma Capelo (Gilbert), Samuel De La Rosa, Esther Castillo (Richard), Rogelio De La Rosa, & Eugenio De La Rosa, Jr.; sister-in-laws, Lupita (Pete) Ramirez & Pilar Grimaldo; cousins and numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit.
A funeral procession will depart Trinity Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. for a mass of Christian burial on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Interment will follow to Santo Nombre Cemetery in Santa Rosa, Texas.
Honored to serve as her pallbearers will be James Garza, Felix Enriquez, Juan Martinez, Noah Garza, Nicolas Enriquez, & Tony De La Rosa.

My condolences to Edna’s family. I worked with Edna in the early 80’s at Harlingen National Bank. I loved her beautiful personality & positive attitude. She was still so pretty after all these years. I had not seen her since I moved away in the early 80’s. Rest in Peace Sweet Angel.

We knew little that day. That God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death, we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the early morning God called you home. You left us beautiful memories; your love is still our guide. And although we cannot see you. You are always at our side. I am so deeply sorry for the loss of Tia Nina. I will always remember her kindness and big heart as well as her beautiful smile and laugh.
