HARLINGEN, TX - Eva L. Vasquez, 96, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at her residence. She was a native of Jalisco, Mexico and long time resident of Harlingen, Texas.
She is survived by 2 daughters; Alma G. (Andrew) Tesoirie of Algiers, Alegria, Dora S. Garcia of Harlingen, Texas; 1 son; Jose E. (Howaida) Vasquez of Harlingen, Texas; 5 Grandchildren, Susan V. Gonzalez, Michael S. Vasquez, Valerie S. Vasquez, Sherrel La Pointe and Laura L. Garcia; 12 great- grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; 1 sister, Emilia L. Gutierrez of Alvin, Texas.
Visitation will be held today, Friday, September 21, 2007 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Thomae-Garza Funeral Direct-ors.
Graveside services will follow on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Mont Meta Cemetery at 2 pm.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Charity of your choice.
