Jaime Rodriguez Obituary

San Benito, Texas - Jaime Rene Rodriguez 49, of San Benito, Texas, passed away suddenly on January 30, 2025. Jaime was a member of St. Ignatius Church in El Ranchito Tx. He is survived by his loving family, Father Juan G Rodriguez & Maria G Rodriguez (+), his siblings Cynthia Ann Rodriguez, Nelda Rodriguez, Juan Hernan Rodriguez Jr (Christy Rodriguez), Linda R. Martinez (Adrian Martinez), Sandra Castillo (Raul Castillo) and his loving Loyal dog- Sushi.

He was the Godfather of Alessandra Maria Castillo, whom he loved and adored. He was very proud of her and all her accomplishments.

He worked for Fed Ex from approximately 2006 to 2025, he loved his job, friends, and those who worked with him. He was a dedicated employee to the company, having served for over 18 years.

Jaime enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, gathering for the holidays, and most of all Football Sundays. He was a faithful - die hard Dallas Cowboys Fan although his original team was the Houston Oilers who then became the Tennessee Titans. He took yearly trips and loved to go with his favorite people, his family and siblings. He loved his siblings and would do anything for each of them. He lived for us, for my father, ensuring that he always had what was needed.

Jaime was deeply loved by his family and will be deeply missed. Our hearts are broken with this unexpected loss. He was humble, generous, kind, and always made sure to put those he loved before himself.

He had numerous nieces and nephews whom he adored. He considered his oldest nephew, whom he loved very much and always looked out for, Lino Daniel Gonzales (Alejandra Gonzales), his little brother. He is also survived by his other nephews and nieces, Ray Mathew Cortez, Abigail Marie Figueroa (Raymundo Figueroa III), Meagan Leigh Rodriguez, Kristen Marie Rodriguez, John H. Rodriguez III, Adrian Michael Martinez, Sabrina Lynne Martinez, Sophia Adriana Martinez, Aaron Daniel Martinez, Alessandra Maria Castillo, Carlos Luis Castillo, Raul Hernan Castillo, Aryanna Marie Castillo and great nieces and nephews Kaylin Danielle Gonzales, John Daniel Gonzales, Luke Alexander Gonzales, Camila Aylin Gonzales, Isabella Dariela Gonzales, and Daniel Alejandro Gonzales and great-great nephews and nieces, Audrina Rose Martinez, Ava Lee Macias, Aya Nomi Macias, and Aidan Ray Figueroa.

The Rodriguez Family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 o'clock Thursday evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito. Following the Mass, Jaime will be laid to rest at Rodriguez Cemetery in San Benito.
