Julia C. Urbina
HARLINGEN - Julia C. Urbina, 85, entered into rest on Thursday at Retama Manor Nursing Center in Harlingen, TX. Mrs. Urbina was a 53 year resident of Harlingen and was preceded in death by her son Delfino Urbina and daughters Teresa Urbina and Santos Urbina.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Antonio Urbina, Sr. of Harlingen, children Andres(Carmen) Hernandez of Harlingen, Mario(Amelia) Urbina of Mexico, Esteban(Olga) Urbina, Sr. of La Feria, TX, Juanita ``Janie'' Corkill of Harlingen, Antonio(Lydia) Urbina, Jr. of Combes, Guillermo (Severa) Urbina, Sr. of Combes, 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 brothers.
Visitation will be held today April 9, 2006 from 10 A.M. until 9 P.M. at the Rudy Garza Chapel of Angels with the holy rosary to be prayed at 7 P.M. The funeral procession will depart the Rudy Garza Funeral Home on Monday April 10, 2006 at 1:30 P.M. for a 2 P.M. Mass of Christian burial at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Fr. Mathias Shanley as the celebrant. Interment will follow at Ashland Memorial Park in Harlingen, TX.
Pallbearers will be Esteban Urbina, Jr., Alfredo Hernandez, Andres Hernandez, Jr., Mario Alberto Urbina, Daniel Gonzalez and Esequiel Flores. Mrs. Urbina was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
