LaVerne Harrison Obituary
LaVerne was born on June 15, 1941 in New Lisbon, WI to Dean K. Harrison & Ruth M. See. He was a resident of Harlingen for the past 8 years & attended Calvary Baptist Church. LaVerne was also an educator & mentor in Colorado Springs, CO, Abbotsford, WI and Zambia, Africa. He enjoyed fishing, loved football, and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Beverly Harrison.
LaVerne leaves behind his loving family to cherish his wonderful memory, his wife of 52 years, Marjorie A. Harrison; children, Amy Keating, Timothy Harrison, & Sally Harrison; grandchildren, Hannah, Joshua, Leah and Jonah Keating, Lupita and Martin Mendoza, Timothy Harrison Jr.; brother, David Harrison (Pat); and nieces, Lisa (Timothy Landrud) and Jenny (Gary) Tervo.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with burial to follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
