I will never forget Mark, he will forever be part of my life. He believed in me and helped me get promoted to Area Manager. All of us need a mentor and he was more than that. Rest in Peace my friend.

March 22, 2019

I just learned of Mark's passing and am so sad. Mark was one of the best managers I ever worked for in my 43 years. Oh he could light up a room. There was no doubt he loved life to the fullest! I always kept a copy of whatever I gave him because I knew he would lose his original! Oh he was so fabulous! How he called all the guys Biggun'! He was such a joy! I thank my lucky stars that I knew him. Even when I would run into him at a company office YEARS later, he always stopped to chat and asked about my husband and kids. God bless the soul of Mark Savarino. To his family, I pray his memory brings peace and joy. What a beautiful spirit he had...rest in peace.

dear wendy, Please accept my most sincere condolences to you and your family at the passing of Mark. I have always remembered the days that I both worked for and with Mark while at 4119 broadway. I was a service rep when he was over the residence center and I was the Union VP when he was over the Business center and I have always told people that he was a very professional, sincere, humble and caring manager. Always balancing the way he treated his employees with having to do what the Company wanted him to. he was very natural to talk to and no matter what the issue was that we were discussing, the subject always seemed to turned to elk hunting, and what an avid hunter he was. after he left san antonio, I had the opportunity to talk to him on the phone about an issue and it was great reminiscing. I always had a great deal of respect for Mark and I will always consider it an honor to have know him. May God Bless Mark

January 2, 2015

It was a very sad day when I learned of Mark's passing. My condolences to his family. I have fond memories of Mark through the years as a little leaguer, and later watching him rounding out third and heading toward home plate with the Mighty Tigers championship teams. We were initiated together into the "M" association in high school, got the "T" buzz hair cut, got our licks, paid our dues. Whatever sport he played, it was with the same intensity, dedication, and he always possessed a true leadership spirit. Mark, say hello to Bill Sr. for me. You have truly reached Home Plate as our Lord God has called on you to become a captain of His team.
