Max Harris Obituary
Max was born in Galveston, Texas on January 10, 1964. He moved to Harlingen, Texas with his family in 1967. Max graduated from Harlingen High School in 1982 and received his B.A. degree in 1987 from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
Max worked in Harlingen, Austin and Washington, D.C. In recent years, he managed our family ranch near Marble Falls, Texas.
Max is survived by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Max Y. Harris, his sister, Mary Catherine (Harris) McConnell, and brother-in-law, Michael R. McConnell of Albuquerque, New Mexico, a nephew, Harris Michael McConnell of Lubbock, Texas and a cousin, Edward W. Bradshaw, III of Dickinson, Texas.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 10:00 am at the First United Methodist Church in Harlingen, TX.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 321 E. Harrison, Harlingen, Texas 78550, Loaves & Fishes, 514 S. E St., Harlingen, Texas 78550 or the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Dr., Suite 900, Arlington, Virginia 22202.

I have pleasant memories from working with Max in the 1999 Bush Presidential Campaign. A good guy! I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I will keep your family in my prayers.
