Olivia Falcon Cantu

1932 - 2022

Harlingen - Olivia Falcon Cantu, 89, of Harlingen, TX entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at her residence. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and the best cook for her family. Olivia had a passion for dancing and did it well.

She is preceded in death by her husband and dancing partner, Lucas Cantu, Jr.; and is survived by her son, Rolando (Ofelia) Cantu; daughter, Josefina F. Cantu; grandchildren, Rolando (Yolanda) Cantu, Jr., Roy (Gabriel) Cantu, Catherine Eve Cantu; great granddaughter, Olivia O. Cantu; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Olivia's family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Rafael Lopez for his tender and loving care for our mother; and also to the staff at American Medical Hospice, most especially Sonia and Chaplain Ruben.

Visitation will be held at Rudy Garza Funeral Home on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with the holy rosary to be prayed at 7:00 P.M. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 A.M. on Friday, May 6, 2022 for a 9:00 A.M. Funeral Service at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. All funeral services will conclude at the church.
