Harlingen/Raymondville - Peter Omar Gutierrez, 44, of Harlingen/Raymondville, entered through Heaven's Gate on Thursday, April 6, 2023. He was born on December 29, 1978. Peter was a loving father and a wonderful grandfather. He was a great husband to Rebecca for over 28 years and a loving son and brother. Peter was a hard working man and a great provider. He always had a genuine smile on his face. He was a man who was so giving and loving. A man who never hesitated or ask why, when he was needed because he was compassionate for others. Peter loved fishing, raising roosters, and a Dallas Cowboys fan. Peter will be greatly missed by his loved ones and those who knew him. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Rebecca Esther Vasquez, children Peter Lorenzo, Cassandra, Nicholas, Marcus, and Mia, grandchildren Scarlette, Sapphire, and Zechariah, parents Juan and Rosa Ramirez, and sisters Cynthia Gutierrez and Ruby Gutierrez, along with many other family members and friends. Visitation will begin Wednesday and Thursday, April 12 and 13, 2023, at Rudy Garza Funeral Home in Harlingen, Texas from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and a prayer service to be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 13, 2023. Funeral service will begin Friday, April 14, 2023, with a chapel service at Rudy Garza Funeral Home of Harlingen, Texas at 12:40 PM with burial to follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Sebastian, Texas.
