HARLINGEN TX. - Bob was born January 26, 1939 in Gering Nebraska.
He served for 10 years in the US Army and Air Force. He was stationed in numerous U.S. locations,Italy, France, and Germany. In Germany, he met his lovely partner in life, Trudy, whom he has been devoted to for 51 years.
In 1968 they found their home in Riverton, Wyoming where they raised their 3 children and made their loving home and careers. After 20 years, he retired from Amoco.
All through life he was very involved in outdoor activities, camping, boating, fishing and hunting. He always cherished his wife, family and friends and made a point to spend his valuable time with them. In his retirement, they enjoyed traveling in their RV which led them to Harlingen in 1998. Bob has dedicated much of his adult life in ministry: Sunday School, BibleStudies, worship team, Church Bd.
In his home, Bob passed peacefully to be with the Lord, on Friday, Jan.4th.
Survivors: wife, Trudy; children Robert,Heidi and Kristin;6 grandchildren; 5 sisters, 1 brother. Preceded in death by his parents and brother.
Services: 1st Church of the Nazarene (2001 N 7th St. Harlingen) Mon., Jan. 7th,11:30 am.

He was always ready to shake your hand and give you a big smile. A lost art that's been replaced by a fist bump and a "Wassup?". Treated me like family. How do you repay that?!

Bob was a beautiful person. He was one of the sweetest men ever! His love for the Lord truly showed as he shared that same love to all those whom he encountered! He was a great role model and true man of God! We will miss him dearly but shall seem him again in our heavenly home. Prayers for Miss Trudy, Kristin, Heidi, n Kaitlyn. We love you!

I met Bob through Job's Daughter's in Riverton when Heidi and Kristin were members. He was a good man who really seemed to exemplify all that is good.
