Mercedes - Ruby Cano, 26, a lifetime resident of Mercedes Texas went to be with the Lord on May 27, 2016 at her residence. She was born May 26, 1990 to Alberto and San Juana Espinoza Cano in Mercedes Texas. She is survived by her adoring family; Her 5 year old son; Ethan Ryan Zamora, Parents: Alberto and San Juana Cano, brothers and sisters; Brother; Ramiro Lopez, Marlene Cano, Melissa (Rolando) Trevino, Denise (Manuel) Gonzales, Albert Cano Jr.,., numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 4:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. Our chapel of Peace doors will open 9:00a.m. for a 1:30p.m. departure to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a 2:00p.m. mass. Interment will then follow to Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Manny Gonzales, Roy Espinoza, Edwin Espinoza, Roger Alvarado., Michael Trevino,, Gabriel Abundis, Mario Gamez and Freddy Espinoza. Ruby was a Mercedes High School Graduate and "TIGER" fan. Her passion in life was her son and family and spending time with her family and friends. She is and will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her. Ruby was a wonderful person, sister and mom. Always making them 1st, no matter what. Ruby, we will forever carry you in our hearts.
