Ruby is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Apolinar (Paul) Navarrette; her grandchild, Angel Villarreal and 6 siblings, Guadalupe Nora Briones, Noe C. Villarreal, Oscar Carlos Villarreal, Maria A. Villarreal, Rita Yzquierdo and Ruben C. Villarreal.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory 2 daughters, Rita (Mark) Ortiz, Sara Navarrette (Mario Guzman); 2 sons, Jaime (Cynthia) Navarrette and Jacob (Aida) Navarrette; 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived 6 siblings, Librada V. Rodriguez, Jose Angel Villarreal, Maria (Mary) Hall, Francisco C. Villarreal, Juanita Rodriguez and Elizabeth Poarch.
Ruby was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and a prayer service will begin at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 5, 2023 with a chapel service at 10:00 AM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home and burial will follow at Heavenly Grace Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you all return to life's routine, may you all continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
Ruby was a very special Angel! Her gifts of compassion & care helped to ease the pain of so many families!
Ruby & Paul took such good care of my husband, Henry and gave us the peace of mind knowing he received the best care possible.
I pray you can find comfort in your memories!
