An honor to have known this lovely man and his beautiful wife through the many times we encountered one another. His battle a courageous one, always trusting in the Lord Jesus and giving us such a witness to His grace. God bless you always.

Growing up with Russell was never boring, he had such a sweet heart, hard working, funny, man of Christ. I will miss him everyday but I know he is in heaven with his lord. He is Home.

My condolences to Russell´s family. Russell´s family lived in the Briggs Coleman area as we did and rode the same bus together, sweet young man then as we all were kids. I am sure a handsome loving family man that has left fond memories

30 years ago, Russell introduced me to a young lady that I just had to meet. I had just gone through a terrible divorce and didn´t really want to but Russell being Russell went on and on about how pretty, smart, religious, etc, etc, etc, etc she was. A year later I found myself getting married to her. Russell and I would rehash how it happened every time we spoke. He was a great friend who was always there for my family. We will miss him dearly.

Having grown up across the road from Russell and his brothers and sisters, I have such great memories ..... so many of them funny because of the pranks we were involved in, the bus rides to and from school, the days-long Monopoly games ..... he was my brother from another mother and I will sorely miss him.
