Santa Rosa, TX - Yolanda S. Ruiz, age 62, of Santa Rosa, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. She was born February 28, 1959 in Mercedes, Texas to Trinidad Sanchez and Maria Gonzalez. Yolanda was a lifetime resident of Santa Rosa and was retired from Santa Rosa ISD.

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her loving children, Linda Ruiz Cano (Joe), Laura Ruiz Pena (Robert), Juan Ruiz Jr. (Brenda), and Guadalupe Ruiz (Yarely); 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; her parents, Frank and Maria Cumpian; siblings, Johnny Gomez (Alicia), Frank Cumpian Jr. (Maggie), Gloria Gomez, Estella Cavazos, Norma T. Champion, and Sandra Ann Sauceda (Guillermo).

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021, from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit.

Chapel Service will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit. Interment will follow at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park in La Feria.

I had not seen Yolanda in a long time but have many memories of her kindness. She was always sweet and loving towards me and my children. I will cherish the memories I do have of her forever.
