Ellen Fiorillo Obituary
Ellen was born in the Bronx, New York to Vincent and Margaret Fiorillo.
She is survived by her sisters Gertrude (Trudy) Roncari (Marino), Patricia Seelig (Kenneth) and Carol Fiorillo. She is pre-deceased by both her parents and younger sister Janis Haynes (Allen). In addition, she was a devoted Aunt to her seven beloved nieces and nephews and ten grand nieces and nephews.
In 1965, Ellen graduated from Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY after which she began her lifelong spiritual journey by joining The Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary convent for 7 years. During this time, she taught English at Mother Butler Memorial High School in the Bronx.
After a brief time teaching, Ellen moved to Manhattan and took a job working for PAN AM Airlines. Her career allowed her to travel extensively throughout Europe. In 1984, she moved to Florida and started her own business, Café Natural in Sarasota and managed various real estate properties.
Throughout Ellen's life, she played an active and supportive role helping others and eventually started her own mental health & spiritual counseling services.
Ellen split her time between Venice, Florida and Brevard, NC. She loved her precious cats (Callie, Rainbow and Silvy). She will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends.

I am so blessed to have known Ellen, even though it was only for these past few years. She was a mentor when I very much needed her and a friend who was always up for an adventure. She was my faithful opera companion and the wisest, feistiest woman I´ve known. She spoke to my heart and straightened out my head and taught me love is all. I´m very sad to learn she is gone and forever grateful for her presence in my life.
