Ronald Grens Obituary

Ronald John Grens passed away at 82 years old on Sunday, August 11, 2024, after a long and wonderful life. "Ronnie", who owned Ron's Auto Radiator Service, was truly loved by all. He was the life of the party until the end.

Ron was predeceased by his two sons, Michael and David Grens, whose deaths altered his life in ways no one could understand. He was also predeceased by his mother, Barbara Rolfe, his father, Romeo Grens, and his brother-in-law, Dick Mohan.

Ron leaves behind his loving sister and brother, Marsha Mohan and Jerry (Sheree) Grens; Ron's nieces, Maureen (Scott) Watson, Michele (Dave Perry) Mohan, Melissa Mohan, and Meredith (Chris) Dyson; nephews, Trent (Andrea) Grens and Brad Grens; along with his great nieces and nephews.

His passing has left his daughter, Susan (Richard) Hubbard, and granddaughter, Madison (Kyle) Lindemann brokenhearted. There is a hole that can never be filled.

A Service will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 11:00 am at Epiphany Cathedral's Parish Center in Venice. A gathering will follow to toast Ron's wonderful life after the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the South County Food Pantry in his honor.

He will be greatly missed! He was a great friend. He always made our friends reunion where he also became friends with my son, Lance Simmons. Sadly Lance passed away in 2023. I am sure Lance met Ron at the pearly gates of Heaven. We will sure miss him!
