Arleene Solis Obituary

Arleene Solis

Oxnard - Arleene Solis, devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and loving friend, passed away suddenly at the age of 61, on May 10, 2021. She leaves behind a mother, Lupe Solis, brother, Romeo (Veronica), twin sister Darleen Solis, sister Diane Archer and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Jose Solis, brother Freddie Diaz and Ruben Benetiz.

While attending Oxnard High School, she played numerous instruments in the band, played volleyball, basketball, softball, and began running numerous L.A. Marathons. After she went to serve her country in the U.S. Airforce, Arleene became a cadet for the O.P.D, where she was awarded "cadet of the year".

Her greatest achievement was being the manager for 30 years at Neptunes Net. It brought her joy beyond belief. Known as "mom", and making lifelong friends from customers to the vendors.

Bubbleheads past time was traveling, concerts, taking pride in all her cars, watching the Raiders, NASCAR, and taking mom shopping. Spending time with her boyfriend Tino Herrera, going to County Line, fishing, camping, and passenger on his Harley. Her guilty pleasure was watching "the Housewives".

What we will miss most of all are her strength and laughter. Her passion for life was endless. You will truly be missed by one and all bubbleheads. We love you.

A celebration of life will be held May 27th, 2021 at 7 pm, at the Reardon Funeral Home in Oxnard. Bring your love and stories.

My twin, my BFF. U have no idea how much u r missed, especially by me. ANYTHING u did, u succeeded in. Sports? U were great at softball, basketball, and running marathons. Your work ethic, was beyond anything. When u had cancer, right after chemo u went to work. When they amputated your leg, u still were ready to go back to work. U were my world BUBBLEHEAD. u n mom made greatest team. U wouldn't find one w/out the other. Her passion for her cars was endless. U r truly missed. I can say God brought u here for a purpose, n u succeeded by keeping the family n your friends filled with love. I'm sorry we didn't succeed in following what u taught us. I can say, sadness comes when I think of u, but at the same time, I remember all the FANTASTIC memories we made. This world is a sadder, n empty place without u. My Twin, my BFF, will truly be missed
