Barry was a very special person. He always had a smile on his face and loved life to the fullest. You have been taken too soon, but leave behind two great men that are wonderful fathers. A legacy to be very proud of and lots of people that were so happy you were a part of their lives. Myself included.

It's been a few years since I have seen you, but I remember all the time we had at the old Whitney. You have a lot of company in heaven may you rest in peace. May God bless your family... Dianne

I will miss my brother, he was one of a kind and always was good for a laugh. I will also miss listening to the voicemail he left when i didn't answer my cell phone. We fought like cats and dogs as kids because we were so close in age. I can remember calling my grandmother when he locked me out the house, and she told me to get the broom and hit him.. lol Go granny powell...we stayed up all night waiting for santa with flashlights under the bed. lol.. so many crazy memories..Will miss him..and i know he is without pain, and doesn't have to take all those meds for his heart transplant, anymore. He talked about all the meds, all the time...I know officially the last drumm in this family of 5 beating..hope i can make it a bit longer than my brothers... Rest IN Peace... Janice

I will miss my brother. Not sure about being the last drumm beating in this family of five. I will miss talking to him and hearing his voice on my cell phone when i didn't answer...he always left silly messages...rest in peace my brother, you have been through a lot in the last 12 plus years with a heart transplant, and before that not being well. Will always love and think about our crazy times growing up together, and going to the same schools.
