Oxnard, CA
Daniel Robert Colacone, 85 of Oxnard passed away on March 4, 2017 at home. Daniel was born in Providence RI to Anthony and Anne Colacone on February 1, 1932. He served proudly in the Korean War and retired from Texas Instruments a a machinist where he received numerous awards.
He is survived by his brother Michael Colacone of Cranston, RI; children Anthony Emma of Sun City AZ, Henry Emma of Simi Valley CA, Nancy Emma of San Antonio TX, and Maria Crook of Oxnard, CA; Grandchildren Eric Vallante, Deborah Smardan, Christina DeJoseph, Nicole Kotz, Christopher Crook, Angelica Emma, Gianna Emma; Great grandchildren Giovanni and Lorenzo DeJoseph, Jeffrey and Sienna Kotz and many nieces and nephews on the east coast. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Colacone who died 2013, parents Anthony and Anna; sisters Columbine Russolino and Mary Marble all from Cranston, RI. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the MS Society. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Assisted Home Health & Hospice who where a blessing during his sickness.
Family and friends are invited to graveside funeral services to be held with Military Honors on Saturday March 18, 2017 at 11am in Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery, Oxnard.
Arrangements are under the direction of the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, Ventura.
