Dick Rosiejka Obituary

Dick Rosiejka

Thousand Oaks - Dick Rosiejka had a zest for life, for his family and a wonderful sense of humor that never wavered. Dick passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 12, 2021 shortly after his 92nd birthday. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Dick and wife Jessie Ann moved to the Conejo Valley in 1964 to open Conejo Savings & Loan. Dick eventually became very involved in the community and was instrumental in the development of the City of Thousand Oaks, playing an active role on the Thousand Oaks Planning Commission, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, and Conejo Valley Days. Dick enjoyed playing handball, which grew into a love for tennis. He and Jessie Ann enjoyed many traveling adventures, especially on their sailboat and across the country in their RV. He was a charismatic and fun-loving man who enjoyed a good laugh and making people smile.

He is survived by his children; Rick and partner Michael, Cindy and husband Joseph, and Mindy; and granddaughters; Elizabeth and Melissa. He was a loving dad, grandpa and good friend to many who will always be in our hearts and will live on in the wonderful memories we've shared.

He is now with Jessie Ann, his wife of 64 years, his soulmate for eternity. We love you Dad!
