Dolly Loughboro Obituary

A wife, mother and Nana, Dolly M. (Gasaway) Loughboro, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2007.

She was born Sept. 21, 1932, in Jonesboro, Ark., and moved with her family to Ojai in 1943.

Dolly was a full-time homemaker and part-time gardener. She loved to watch the vegetables and flowers grow, and always said she was a farmer at heart. She also served as chief financial officer at her husband's electronics business. Dolly was a beautiful woman, not only outside but inside as well, and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Capp; children, Glen and Debbie; grandchildren, Danny and Krista; and great-grandchildren, Trevor and Anthony.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Wilma; brothers, Jesse and Ray; and her beloved dog, Tinker.

Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 17, at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Valentine Road, Ventura.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura.
