Dear Villasenor family,
I'm so sorry to hear that Tia Rica has passed. She was such a special and sweet person, so generous and open-hearted. I'm so thankful that we were able to see her recently at Angel Ochoa's funeral where she said such kind words to our family when we were grieving.
The beautiful clothes that she made for Angela, Michele and my dolls when we were younger are safely wrapped away for now, but someday soon I hope we'll be taking them out and passing them on to a new generation to use and to give joy to. I think she would have liked that. Her stitches and her generosity have united different generations and she will be remembered and loved for it, even by the next ones to come.
Con amor y un abrazo fuerte,
Lucy Quezada-Romero

Villasenor Family,
Our family was saddened to hear of your loss. She was always a dear friend to my parents, and an inspiration to me. During my father's last days she'd call my mother to comfort her and chat. We appreciated her support. What I admired most about her was her devotion to her family and her strong faith. We know you'll all miss her.

Villasenor Family,
All of you are in our prayers. Your mom was such a wonderful person. When Skip & I painted her house she was always feeding us and she made some of best food we have ever had. The talent she had with her sewing was beyond professinal, she made our girls barbie clothes that are treasured always. The love that she had for her family gave great inspiration. She was a amazing lady and we are blessed to have known here.

Dear Villasenors. I remember your Mother with much love. She was truly there for me when I needed her most, and I will never forget. I also remeber the good times around the kitchen table and the great times in the party room. She was a special Mom to all.

Dear Familia Villasenor,
We wish you comfort. "Those who weave color into our lives leave us with a tapestry of beautiful memories." Abuelita welcomed us into your family with kindness and generosity. May the special memories we all have of her live in our hearts forever, and bring us peace that she is watching us from above with that twinkle in her eye.

When I remember your mom - I remember her kindness that was genuine; a wit that was grounded in wisdom; and, her generosity. Kathy and I never felt more welcomed or loved than when we last saw her. She was always true to her name “TIA RICA.”
Our prayers and thoughts are with you. Your Cousins
