Esequiel died peacefully at home in Oxnard on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Zacatecas, Mexico on July 15, 1939, to Rafael and Macedonia Munoz.
"Zeke" was a hard-working, easy going Custodian at Santa Clara High School for 34 yrs; retiring in 2003.
He was always happy and smiling, offered you a beer, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved dancing to musica Norteno, Zacatecano, and 25 Tanboraso. He enjoyed going to the beach, and taking his family on vacation. Esequiel is survived by his wife of 47 yrs Raquel; four children: Ralph, Leticia, Dina, and David; and 10 grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him.
The viewing will be held at Santa Clara Mortuary, on Thursday, Dec. 20 at 4:30 p.m., followed by the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on Friday, Dec. 21, at 9:30 a.m., with burial to follow at Santa Clara Cemetery.
