Hector Corrales Obituary
Ventura - Hector Corrales, 58, of Ventura, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021.
Mr. Corrales was born on July 28, 1962 in El Paso, Texas and was a Ventura County resident for the past 55 years, having come from New Mexico.
Hector was a restauranteur, owning several Corrales Mexican Food Restaurants in Ventura for 18 years.
Hector loved his children and they were his pride and joy. He looked forward to spending summers in Kentucky so he could be with his daughter, Rebecca and grandchild, Caydence.
Hector enjoyed playing computer games, his favorite being World of Warcraft.
Hector is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years, Eva Corrales; his son, Timothy Ballard, of Ventura; his daughters: Rachelle Corrales, of Ventura, Rebecca Corrales, of Kentucky, Vanessa Corrales, of Ventura, and Yvette Corrales, of Ventura; his brothers: David Corrales, of Ventura and Rafael Corrales, of Santa Paula; his sisters: Leticia Granados, of Ventura and Yolanda Corrales, of Ventura; and his grandchildren: Caydence and Piper.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 6:00pm on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the BOYKO & REARDON TELEGRAPH ROAD Mortuary & CREMATION, 15 Teloma Drive, Ventura. Due to Covid-19 State Regulations, 10 people at a time will be allowed in the building.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.

Héctor was the best man in my first marriage to Victor Pelaya. That was in 1982 and I was blessed to stay in touch throughout the years with Hector. What an amazing person he was and will continue to be on the other side! We have a hope in Jesus to see him again. Not goodbye Hector....just “until then”. My thoughts and prayers are with Eva, his kids, Leonor and family. Lord; give them strength and peace that is so needed at a time of grieving.

Hector was always a kind man with a very big smile. I would see him at the restaurant often. I am very sorry to hear Hector has passed, and we, his customers, will surely miss him. My deepest condolences.
