Jessie Ann Rosiejka passed away peacefully in her home at age 84 on July 3, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.
Although she battled liver cancer, she stayed positive and gracious until her passing and will always be an inspiration to all of us. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Jessie and her husband, Dick, resided in Thousand Oaks for the past 49 years. She was active in community groups including the Children's Home Society, Girl Scouts and most recently the YMCA. Jessie enjoyed playing bridge, reading, sailing, traveling and swimming. She was a wonderful caring person who enjoyed life and touched everyone around her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Dick; and their devoted children, Rick and his partner Michael, Cindy and her husband Joseph Marandola, and Mindy; also her beloved granddaughters, Elizabeth and Melissa Marandola.
She will always be in our hearts and she will live on in the wonderful memories we've shared.
There will be a Celebration of her Life at the Conejo Valley YMCA in the Community Room, 4031 N. Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks, Thursday, July 18, between the hours of 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Conejo Valley YMCA. Arrangements were made with the assistance of Griffin Family Funeral Chapels, Thousand Oaks, 805-230-2800.

Jessie Ann accepted me for whom I am. I will always remember the first time I met her and cherish how close we became. I Hope You Dance contains lyrics so very similar to what Jessie would tell me...
The turn out for her Celebration of Life was amazing. Those of us she left behind, will carry her cleverness and sensibility with us forever.

I remember Mrs. Rosiejka as friendly and happy. Whenever I came down to babysit she would have this huge smile on her face. I will miss not seeing her and Mr. Rosiejka working in the yard. Mindy and family, I am so sorry for your loss. God Bless!

She was the most loving and caring lady ever! The room would 'light up' whenever she entered. An incredible person, a leader, and the best Mom anyone could ever hope to have!
