I grew up on Tangerine Place. John was always amazing to me--raising three little kids (and then growning kids). My mom always thought very highly of him. A good guy.

I worked with John for almost 20 years at Aircraft Targets and he was a very nice, friendly man who LOVED burritos! I went and saw him a couple of times after he went into the home off of Telephone Road. I went with my Mother in law in tow. Her name is Arline Hume and she knew him from Parents Without Partners. His passing saddens me as the world will be a little less interesting and comical without John. Sincerely, Dan Lechliter

Just wanted to let you know that I was thinking of all of you. Cori told me the other day, that John actually suggested that you donate his body to science, so that you could make $100. I got a really big kick out of that, because John was John until the very end, and it reminded me of how he was always trying to get Charly and I to budget (although, we never did). John and I had our differences when I was young and naive, but as I got older, I came to realize that it all made sense. God bless you all!
