Jonathon (Jon) Crilly Obituary

In the early morning of Sunday, July 25, 2021, Jonathon (Jon) Randolph Crilly, loving father, grandfather, brother, mentor and friend, passed away in his home in Moorpark, CA at the age of 60.
Jon was born on February 4, 1961 and adopted eighteen months thereafter by Richard and Dorothy Crilly in Rolling Hills Estates, California. He graduated from Rolling Hills High school in 1979 and worked as a super-salesman and sales manager in Southern California for over thirty years. Jon was a long-time member of the Torrance and Long Beach Junior Chambers of Commerce (Jaycees), serving as the president of the Torrance Jaycees from 1995-1996. Jon raised two children with Kathryn Moore, to whom he was married from 1993 – 2013. He took great pride in his children and their accomplishments, and cared deeply for his grandchildren as well.
Jon was a generous, fun-loving person who lived large, often dancing in the middle of the street and cheering people on in their accomplishments with his famous catch phrases "NOICE!!!" and "Boom baby!". He liked to golf, travel, and joke around with his friends and family over sushi dinners. With over 12 years of sobriety, Jon always spoke of the value of "paying it forward" and truly enjoyed helping others achieve their sobriety goals. He believed that a person can do anything they put their mind to and that having an attitude of gratitude is the best way to live one's life. Jon was an unforgettable person who made a lasting impact on many people – he will be dearly missed.
Jon was preceded in death by his parents and his step-daughter Jenny Hutcherson. He is survived by his daughter Candice Crilly, his step-son Lucas Kellner, his sister Shelly Crilly, and his partner Julie Hinkfus. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ryan, Amelia, William, and Douglas.
A public memorial and celebration of Jon's life will be held from 3 – 5 pm on Sunday, August 22 at Camarillo Grove Park - 6968 E Camarillo Springs Rd, Camarillo, CA 93012.
