Jordan was born on August 1, 1992 and passed away on July 7, 2016 surrounded by his family and friends. A loving husband, father, son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend, he will be missed dearly by all. Jordan will always be remembered for his infectious smile and dimples, and the strength and courage in his fight against cancer. A true warrior.

Jordan was born and raised in Oxnard. He attended Kamala Elementary School, Haydock Intermediate School, and Hueneme High School. He enjoyed playing football and basketball in his youth, which also carried into his young adulthood. Jordan was an avid San Diego Chargers and Golden State Warriors fan. He enjoyed watching his younger brothers play football, his "garage talks" with his older brother and friends, and Chumash outings with his mom. Jordan also enjoyed playing video games, watching The Big Bang Theory, and collecting Michael Jordan shoes. Jordan lived for adventure and appreciated the outdoors. He found great pleasure in hiking, snowboarding, paddle boarding, kayaking, and rock climbing. His greatest joy, however, was being a husband and "papa". He spent every possible moment with his wife and son. As a family, they often ventured on trips to San Diego, the beach, zoo and Disneyland, creating wonderful memories. Each morning he'd awake with a smile, as he'd look over to see his loving wife and son by his side. They gave him the strength and courage to fight each day.

Jordan is survived by his loving wife Karen Galvan, sons Jayden and Jordan (on the way); mother Adriana "Paloma" Diaz; father Reye Rodriguez (Las Vegas, NV); brothers Reye Rodriguez, and Isaiah and Calvin Pleasant; sister Shiloh Pleasant; grandparents Joaquin Diaz and Ofelia Rodarte; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his dog Tank.

The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support; and for the compassion and medical care Jordan received from St. John's Hospital (2nd floor nursing staff), Roze Room Hospice (Chaplain John, Jadonna, and Valerie), VCMC (nursing staff Fred), Dr. Steen and staff at Anacapa Surgical, and Leanne at Gold Coast Insurance. A special thank you to his older brother, Reye and best friend, Iziah Estrella for helping with Jordan's care each day.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Rosary at 6:30 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 11:00 am. All services will be held at Santa Clara Mortuary, 2370 North H Street, Oxnard.
