Joseph Richard Mang, 64, died suddenly July 4, 2007, in Ojai.
Joe was born Dec. 16, 1942, in Alta Dena, Calif. He was a businessman. Joe was a devoted father, loving husband, admired son and respected brother who put his family above all else. He invested more than 30 years of hard work and dedication to the family business, Rayne Water Systems in San Fernando and Santa Clarita, which he built and managed with his parents and brothers. After retiring 10 years ago, Joe invested all his time and energy in parenting his three sons with his wife. Joe was an avid golfer and was very involved with his sons in the Ojai Pony Baseball and other community activities in the Ojai Valley area.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Kimberly (Sofley) Mang; sons, Brady, Chandler and Reagan of Ojai; mother, Margaret Mang of Granada Hills; brother James of Canyon Country; brother Christopher of Hendersonville, N.C.; as well as numerous cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Richard Mang of Granada Hills; and brother Thomas Mang of Lancaster.
A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, at San Fernando Mission Church, 15151 San Fernando Mission Blvd., in Mission Hills.

Uncle Joe was a great Uncle to me, my brother Lou and my sister Theresa.
