Larry and his wife Lorraine have lived in Camarillo since 1970 and were active members of Saint Mary Magdalen parish. Brothers Edward, Robert, Joseph, Timothy and Donald preceded him.
Larry joined the US Navy at the age of 16 and remained for 30 years. He served in aviation operations during WWII, the Korean conflict, and Viet Nam. After retiring from the Navy, Larry worked for Sears for 14 years. Many will remember him from the former Sears Appliance and Catalog store in Camarillo.
Larry and Lorraine were married 1954 in Alameda, CA. He was very proud of his son Tom and daughters Kathe, Jean Anger, Carolyn Searle, Mary, and April Day, 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was a man of faith and treasured his time with family and friends. Larry and Lorraine traveled extensively and they loved to dance. He was often the last man standing on the dance floor.
