Our Beloved Miriam "Mimi" Marquez entered into eternal peace on Wednesday March 29, 2017. Miriam was only 54 years young and leaves to cherish in her memory 3 children: Michael Herrera, Roy Christopher Jimenez, and Roger Contreras; her longtime partner Robert "Bobby" Frenes; four sisters, Gladis Marquez, Monica Marquez, Irene Mendoza (Gary), Yvonne Marton-Duarte (Francisco); two brothers, Terry Stephenson (Debra), Alexander Marton Jr., and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Miriam was kind hearted and very dedicated to helping family members and friends all the time -she never shut her doors on anyone. She loved spending time with her family members and friends, playing her lottery scratchers, going shopping, and watching scary movies and the I Love Lucy show.
Miriams life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
Visitation will be held on Thursday April 27th 530pm to 830pm at Perez Funeral Home, 1347 Del Norte Road in Camarillo, Ca. A Burial will be held on Friday April 28th at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Valentine Road in Ventura, Ca at 12 noon. A reception celebrating her life will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday April 28th at the Freedom Center in the Camarillo Airport area at 515 Eubanks off Pleasant Valley Road. You were of goodness but lost in this world, it hurts me dearly to see that you a gone before I could say goodbye, I pray for you that God may lift you in his arms and take away all your hurts. I knou the true and wonderful person that you really are. I also pray for all your loved ones that they may keep your love alive by walking in goodness, for in goodness you will be lifted. I say I'm sorry for not being there for you, my heart is heavy for for the loss of a good and wonderful that I knew from the inside and not from what everyone seen on the outside, I knew your heart, your hurts and pain. A childhood classmate & friend. Miriam and I shared SO MANY laughs. I met Miriam in Elementary School. We both loved "I love Lucy" we would laugh for hours on end. I'm saddened to hear of Miriam's passing. Such shocking news! Miriam was such a beautiful Woman with a beaming smile. So thankful we were able to talk not long ago. I will treasure that phone call. May God bless your Family & Children. You will be missed. Until I see you again, peace be still...
