Robert Rail was one of the first people I met when I moved to the Ojai Valley. Our overlapping interests of libraries and the natural world ensured that we had many fascinating things to discuss and share. I miss his smile and his rich voice.

I have such fond memories of working with Mr. Rail on the Navy Base - He was a delight - one of my favorite coworkers. Bless him.
