Robert F. Walsh Jr.

Robert F. Walsh Jr. "Bob" of Weymouth, died Nov. 17, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Bob was a strong promoter of education, putting his children and wife through college before completing college himself. Bob was a very accomplished man. He was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and graduated first in his class at Northeastern University in 2000. Bob was the Vice President of Auto Mec Inc. where he worked for over 35 years. He had a love and took great pride in computer programing, astronomy and photography. In his earlier years he and his wife would enjoy skiing and scuba diving. Bob will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Beloved husband of 48 years of Peg (French) Walsh of Weymouth. Loving father of Robert F. Walsh III of Middleboro, Sean P. Walsh of Nantucket, James M. Walsh of Boston and the late Michelle Abban. Devoted Pa of Melissa, Samantha, Katie, Meg, Aiden, Philip, Curtis and Zack. Great-Pa to Avery. Caring brother of Michael Walsh of Canton and Corinne Riley of Canada. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4 - 8 p.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, South Weymouth, at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So.
