Shirley Leimomi Hao passed away at the age of 77 on May 14, 2012. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Nov. 17, 1934. She was a resident of Ventura County for over fifty years.
Along with her husband, Vernon, and friends, Ben Lum and Sammy Ke, she was a founding member of the Hawaiian Club "Kolepa O' Kaleponi" in the 1980's.
She leaves behind her son Carl Hauoli Kaikaina... Sisters: Janet Kaui LenWai, Lanna Keli'iho'omalu, U'ilani Kekauoha, Blanche Mokihana Stedman, and Vionna Pua'ala Keola. Her Brother Hiram Kaikaina, Jr. Grandsons: Ho'okahi Kaikaina, Matthew Pono Kaikaina and Branden Hauoli Kaikaina. Grand daughters: Amaris Kaikaina and Hi'iaka HuiHui. As well as six great grand children.
Visitation will be held Friday June 1st from 3pm to 8pm at the Conrad & James Reardon Funeral Home. A prayer service will be at 6pm, also at the Conrad & James Reardon Funeral Home. Burial services will be held on Saturday June 2, 11am at the Ivy Lawn Memorial Park.
