Steven Ogne Obituary
Somis, CA
Rev Dr Steven Lyle Ogne, 59, passed away on October 14, 2015 and is now fully recovered from his medical journey, celebrating with our Lord and Savior.
Steve is survived by the love of his life, Jane. His legacy lives on through his pride and joy, his three sons, Timothy, Jeffrey, and Gregory. Steve was grateful to be able to perform the wedding of Tim and wife Brienna and later hold his first granddaughter, Violet Joy.
As a pastor and missionary, Steve has influenced and mentored thousands. Every conversation he had could be simplified to a three-point sermon outline. "There are three things?": 1. Steve loved God. 2. Steve loved his family (dogs included). 3. Steve loved the Church.
A celebration of Steve's life will be held this Friday, October 23rd, beginning at 10:00 am at Calvary Community Church in Westlake Village. A reception will immediately follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a benevolence fund in Steve's honor. Checks may be made out to MCWR, 484 E Los Angeles Ave #228, Moorpark, CA, 93021. Please note "Benevolence Fund" in the memo line.
