Sharon Ann Kellar, 65, of Sycamore died peacefully on Monday, July 18, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She was born on June 8, 1951 to Earl and Gloria (Parisi) Kellar. Sharon was employed by United Airlines as a statistical analyst until her retirement in 2012.
She enjoyed spending time in Italy, Germany, and Paris, traveling abroad. Her time was spent with her adoring extended family including several nieces and nephews. She had a generous heart and was loved by all who knew her. Her sense of humor was second to none.
Survivors include her sister, Dawn Kellar McCoy of Sycamore; two brothers, Mark Kellar of Edina, MN and Scott (Dana) Kellar of Missouri City, TX; her nieces and nephews, Marcy (Brandon) Ward, Stephanie (Michael) Smith, Amy (Ben) Hucker, Samantha McCoy, Jacqueline Kellar, Dylan McCoy, Grace and Meagan Kellar; and three great nieces, Audrey Ward, Janet and Elizabeth Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her significant other, John Inghilleri.
Her visitation will be on Friday, July 22 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory in Sycamore, with a memorial service beginning at 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL. 60178.

I am so sad to hear of Sharon's passing and I wish I could be there to celebrate her life! Her family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time! Sharon will always have a special place in my heart, she was like a second Mom to me and will always be my Auntie Shar and I miss her dearly!
