Funeral services for Nick Virostko, 71, of Gore, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Agent Millsap Event Center in Gore.
Burial was at Virostko Family Cemetery in Gore under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Virostko was born on Aug. 15, 1951, in Rantoul, Ill., to Carl Nickolas Virostko and Mary Ellen (Mullen) Virostko. He died on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023, in Gore.
He was a truck driver, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and of the Methodist faith.
He married Zelma Virostko on July 6, 1983, in Tahlequah.
Survivors include his wife, Zelma of the home; two daughters, Penny Virostko of Bartlesville and Paula Slater of Cashion; four sons, Nick Virostko Jr. and Brandi Rogers of Coweta, Dimo and Savannah Virostko of Broken Arrow, Rocky and Michelle Seay of Watts and Billy Seay of Gore; one sister, Carla and Doug Demaree of Franklin, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Don Schafer; one son, Bobby Seay; one brother, Donnie Schafer; and one sister, Nancy Jane Schafer.
Pallbearers were Hunter Virostko, Nick Virostko Jr., Trannen Davis, Rocky Seay, Jasper Virostko and Mitchell Laymon.
