Doris Stiltner Obituary

DORIS LEE STILTNER , 77, of Grundy, VA, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025, at her home following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late Delmer Lester Stiltner Sr. and Eloise (Ridenour) Stiltner. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was of the Christian faith. She was a loving daughter, aunt, sister and was a retired schoolteacher. She enjoyed traveling, cats and all things Christmas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Delmer Lester "Dickie" Stiltner Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory include her nephew, David Lester (Michele) Stiltner of Florence, SC, and her caregiver, Darnece Adkins.
Visitation was held at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Thursday from 12 to 1:00 P.M.
Funeral Services for DORIS LEE STILTNER were conducted Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel, burial followed at Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.
Active Pallbearers were family and friends.
Grundy Funeral Home of Grundy, VA is honored to serve the family of DORIS LEE STILTNER.
