Aristotle Gavras Obituary

Aristotle "Tully" Gavras Aristotle "Tully" Gavras died Dec. 27, 2014 at age 88, in Santa Monica, CA. He is survived by his wife Pamela (They had been married about 20 years) sister Mary and cousin George Pappas. He was preceded in death by his parents; George & Stella Gavras, sister Dorthy, brother Jim, and Gus & Viola Pappas. George, Viola & Gus were raised by the Gaunas family of Tulare. Aristotle was very active in music during his teenage years in Tulare. When he and Kenneth Lange organized the Galvan Sympony Orchestra in 1943 to 1945 made up of the youth of the area. Aristotle and Pamela enjoyed the arts and music in Southern California . No services were held, but you may make a contribution to: Tulare Historical Museum, 444 W. Tulare Ave., Tulare, CA 93274.

In loving memory of a great brother-in-law, uncle, and man.

We each lit a candle in remembrance of Uncle Tully at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox in Little Rock. We also made a contribution to the church in his honor.

We also give thanks to Pamela for her presence in Uncle Tully's life and for the joy she brought to it.
