Barbara January

Mrs. Barbara Ann January of Visalia passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 16, 2010 in Visalia at the age of 70. Mrs. January was born January 22, 1940 in Visalia, California to Rex and Neoma Baber. In 1957 she married the love of her life the late (Stanley Ray January and together settled in Visalia and started their family. Mrs. January was a long time member of Gateway Church of Visalia, where she was a very active volunteer with Sunday School for many years. Barbara was an avid golfer and bowler and also enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking and spending time with family and friends. She will be best remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed. She is survived by 2 sons, Dan January and wife Barbara of Visalia; Bill January and wife Jamie of Peoria, Arizona; 5 grandchildren; Laci Sandoval and husband Frank of Visalia; Donovan January of Visalia; Taylor, Madison and Wilson January of Peoria, Arizona; a great grandson, Trenton James Ray January of Visalia. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Ray January in 2010, a sister Juanita Williams. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 27, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at Gateway Church of God.
