Mom,
As I take down the book that is my life and open it to the first page, I find you there. When I opened my eyes and looked upon this world, I first looked upon your face. What a wonder it is, to see your mother for the first time, and to begin to know the love of a mother. As I continue to turn the pages of the book that is my life, the memories flood my mind. They are so thick that I must brush them away in order to see the pages through the tears.
I shall miss you more than can be imagined!
It was fitting that I was there when the book of your life on this earth was closed and the book of your heavenly life was opened. I know there were many there waiting to greet you. I also know that when it comes time for my life’s book on this world to close, you will again be there to greet me. As it was in the beginning, so it shall be again.
Love remains, eternal, and forever.
Your Son,

Steve

I know I"ve wrote two times to you already. I found what I had writen on 8-27-09, wanted to share it with you. Things I love about my mom. #1. always A strong woman. #2. Worked hard to support her 4 children. #3. We could come to our mom with any problem, she would"nt judge us. #4. Our mom was always there for us know matter what and her whole family. #5. She would give her last $ 1.00 if one of us needed it. #6. Our mom is [ was ] the trunk of A large tree. Standing tall and never letting it fall. #7. Now she is 82 and has Lung Cancer and other bad medical problems. I see her falling, not being that strong tree trunk. She is having trouble with her mind, it is hard for me to see her like that. I love my mom so much!!! She is and always will be my best friend. Soon after I wrote this my moms cancer had gone to her brain. Then she was gone. She is in heaven with all the other Angels. Love you momma, Sheddy ( Shelley )

Bonnie has been our next door neighbor for 3 years. John and I only knew her as Bonnie the first day we met - after that she was Grandma. She will be missed by us both and we loved her dearly. Her family are an example of how she lived - they have always treated us as family and we are here for them in this difficult time.
