Brian, although I did not know you that well, we did go to school together since we were small.. You always had a smile and were very nice to others. When I heard about this, it broke my heart just to think of your beautiful life cut short and the pain your family is experiencing. I like many others, will forever remember you and keep you in my thoughts. May your soul rest in peace, and we all know you will be watching over your family from heaven...

Brian, every day, I, like so many others, think about you. Now, also like the others, I look at the hummingbird that stays by my kitchen window and say hello with a bittersweet smile.

Great service today A lot of people came out to show their Love and Support and to celebrate Brians life! It was a great celebration of life truly suiting of Brian. His contagious smile will live on. In the service today we were all reminded of a good practice to live our lives by and that is to practice Love, Patience, Caring and Forgivenss..

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love
Corinthians 13:13

To the Morris family and all Brians friends my prayers are with you all!

Alan and family,

It is with a sad heart and a familiar pain that I sign this guest book for Brian. Please know that your family is in my thoughts at this very difficult time.

Don't stand by my grave and weep,
For I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint of snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning, hush.
For I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circle flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand by my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die.

Sorry to see you taken at such a young age. I wish this were at better world, then maybe would be sharing a tall can or two. At least I still all the good memories to reflect on. See you on the cross roads B-Willis..... “The world is like a ride in an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it's very brightly colored and it's very loud and it's fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time and they begin to question: "Is this real, or is this just a ride?" And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, they say, "Hey, don't worry, don't be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride." "And we can change it any time we want." It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings and money, a choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your door, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see all of us as one.” William Melvin Hicks

Memories can be shared, and stories can be told. Memories like camping in Sunset Beach. Hobos. Etc. They all help a little. But unfortunately, you never expect anything like this to happen to someone you love. When it does, all you’re left with is a gigantic hole in your heart, sorrow and pure, raw ANGER.

Brian, no one will ever forget you. Your positive outlook, laugh, and razor sharp sense of humor will always make sure of that.. You're missed so badly.

Rest in peace.

MacKenzie "Mac" Spurlock
