Carlos Rodrigues Bernardo
Visalia - Carlos Bernardo joined the love of his life, Maria Conceicao in heaven on June 5, 2021 at the age of 78. The two were childhood friends on the island of Faial and were married for 51 years before Conceicao's passing in 2017. Together they immigrated to California in the 1960's.

Carlos adored his only grandson Zachery Bernardo. The two loved to make each other laugh. They also enjoyed fishing, playing in the garden and feeding the ducks at the park.
Carlos was born to Manuel and Maria Lourdes Bernardo on the Island of Pico in the Azores on Christmas day, December 25, 1942.
